Staging
Lube Master emphasizes the importance of staging a vehicle by making an abundance of information available for the salesperson. The staging screen allows you to stage a vehicle by license plate, name, telephone number or even by scanning a barcode. Once the car is entered into the system the salesperson immediately knows the recommended services for that vehicle, the vehicle history, any outstanding comments and available customer promotions. This enables the salesperson to know exactly what the customer needs, without making the mistake of recommending something that they previously purchased.
Work Order
Once the car is staged, services are selected and a work order is then created. To select a service the salesperson simply has to touch or click the appropriate services. Any parts or check points that are associated with the services will then be automatically added to the work order, along with any information available for that vehicle from the Chek-Chart database.
Specifications
Chek-Chart's complete specifications guide is readily available either on screen or on the printed work order. The Specification tab lets you choose what specs you want for each service, so your technicians do not have to search through endless data to get the information that pertains to the work being performed.
Invoice
Upon completion of the services the invoice screen guides you through the preparation of the invoice. Any check points that were assigned to the services will appear on this screen. Each check point can be set up to automatically default to a certain status or you can require the status to be changed. Either way you can insure that the proper check points will be added to each service. The invoice screen also is where additional parts and their quantities would be added to the invoice. Part numbers for filters will automatically be added through the Chek-Chart filter catalog.
Point-of-Sale
Lube Master for Windows provides several levels of protection to ensure that you get paid for the services you provide and your customers receive the services they paid for. Before a customer is cashed out all the pertinent information needs to be added to the Invoice, so parts and quantities cannot be forgotten. The point-of-sale features of Lube Master include: barcode scanning, credit card clearing, fleet accounts and cash control.
